    • Boise Cascade’s Kinzua Lumber sawmill in Pilot Rock reduced energy use by 14 percent and saved more than $99,000 in 2013 with new energy management practices and behavior-based changes. Read more.
    • Ontario builder Agile Homes completed its first five homes rated with EPS, incorporating features such as tankless water heaters, increased insulation and energy-efficient appliances. It was the first builder to bring EPS-rated homes to Ontario.
    • In Pendleton, Interpath Laboratory expanded its growing business with an energy-efficient new building. “We’re using the same amount of energy now as we were in our old building but with three times the space to heat and cool,” said Jeff Wood, the company’s operations manager.
    • Energy Trust collaborated with the City of Pendleton on Solarize Pendleton, an effort to help residents install solar systems on their homes.
    • Energy Trust reached out to moderate-income residents to promote Savings Within Reach, which offers higher incentives for moderate-income customers.
